Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by StephDucat
Lovely Saturday afternoon and it was time for Goodgym to visit one of our regulars : Mr R. This time I was not alone. Ariane joined me. Mr R opened the door and he went to open the side door for us to get in the garden with the green wheelie bin. Ariane was there for one reason : add another mission to her palmares, meet Mr R, see Steph or was it something else?? All of them probably but the real one was she wanted to see frogs as i previously found a big one at Mr R amongst other creatures. Was it the day to see a Frog apart from Steph Ducat (Frenchie). We entered the garden to be face to face with Mr Fox who was not scared of us : stayed there a little while then disappeared at the far end of the garden. We started by removing weed that had come back near the door, then rock and rolled with the brambles and grass behind the tree and section that was already cleared from the previous session. We then spotted squirrels playing in the trees at the end of the garden. While we were pulling and raking, there was a massive white spider which we moved else where for it to spin its cobweb/. As the bin was full, I moved to the front of the house and collected another one. When I came back, Ariane found what she came for : the Frog!!! Yes the frog that I previously spotted was still in the garden. Was this a fairy tail where Ariane was going to kiss the Frog and a Prince would appear? The Frog Prince? Nope - only fairy tales and the Frog stayed to wonder further in the garden and no Prince was to be seen. Maybe next time for Ariane. We carried on and filled the 2nd bin to around 3/4 of its capacity. We could have carried on but it was time to leave and say goodbye to Mr R. Until next time. By the way congrats to Ariane as completed her first weekend mission : Mission Possible
