A return visit to Mrs S in Fishponds and it was lovely to see that she’d received some more help in her garden since my last visit.

We were having trouble communicating, partly because English is not Mrs S’s first language, but also because she is hard of hearing but she was definitely pointing to a pair of shears and then the top end of the garden, so i snipped and raked away for 90 minutes.

I thought she referred to me as Superman until I realised she was actually referring to someone from Weston-super-Mare who had given her some help in the garden recently! 😂
