I helped The Blue Marine Foundation with phase two of its Solent Oyster Restoration project which is well on its way to create a healthy, self-sustaining population of native oysters in the Solent.

The final batch of oysters were checked, scrubbed and any attached critters clunked off - that's 20,873 all ready for placing in their new reef in Chichester harbour.

I enjoyed meeting some great people and being part of this project - and the pizza afterwards!
