We had a lovely evening returning to helping Recyke Y Bike, an amazing organisation in the east end of Newcastle. I was joined by Aimee, Sara, Neil and Rae.

It was my 140th good deed tonight which felt very good.

Recyke Y Bike rely on volunteers so they really appreciated our help tonight to prepare for getting back up and running again

Jobs completed in just one hour (which is very impressive) included:

  • Sweeping and mopping the floor of the workshop
  • Moving children's bikes from one side of the workshop to another
  • Tidying up
  • Painting the toilets
  • Cleaning bird poo (extra kudos to Neil for doing this so enthusiastically with a pressure washer)

Hopefully we will be back again very soon!
