Rae Hale done a 12 month mission streak.
Wow, Rae has completed a 12 month mission streak. That means they've cleared gardens, moved furniture and changed light bulbs in spring, summer, autumn and even winter. Show your support and give them a massive cheer!

Newcastle Report written by Aimee (she/her)
Me and Rae used our late lunch breaks to move a bed downstairs for Miss T so she can be discharged out of hospital.
An occupational therapist was on hand to let us in the house and explain what needed doing and we got stuck in moving dining room furniture to clear a space for the single bed, carrying the heavy mattress and then the lighter bed base down the stairs and reconfiguring the bed downstairs.
This was a quick job but one which will be very beneficial as Miss T has no family in the area to help and this will allow her to go home. A useful lunch break.

Rae Hale completed 25 good deeds with GoodGym.
Rae has already done 25 good deeds with GoodGym. Instead of doing anything else, they've used their run to go and help people that need their help; digging, lifting, scraping, clearing, planting and weeding. Stuff that makes this a better place to be.

Newcastle Report written by Anji Andrews (she/her)
We get asked to do a lot of random stuff at GoodGym Newcastle but after five years its rare that there is a true "first" and we got one tonight!
We love to help our friends at Stepney Bank Stables who kindly loan us the use of their facilities and allow us to store our stuff every week. Tonight to help them prepare for a big renovation job at the working stables, we'd been asked to come and measure each of the stables ahead of the big overhaul. Thankfully in freezing cold rain, this task was under cover and we were even joined by horsey friends Polly and Maestro.
This required steady hands, careful precision and excellent handwriting and this team was just the ticket. Stables expertly measured, forms filled in and horses patted before trotting back to the main building.
We finished off tonight with some Pilates exercises timed by my bleepy timer then some deep breathing exercises to set us up for a good week.
Stepney Bank Stables could do with some support. If you can spare anything at all, please donate to their JustGiving page.
