8 people including Steve Rotheram, our Mayor attended The Anfield Village Green, an area adopted by Alley Angels and kept litter free by them and others. It was great to have another joint litter picking operation with Alley Angels and to have the Mayor there as well helping out with the pick.

The area does collect a lot of litter and I have been there before and spent a good few hours picking the whole area. With 8 of us we had the whole area picked clean and it looked great. It proves the power of groups of people coming together and helping in the community. If you are wanting to help out in your community and are reading this then please contact GoodGym.
