It's been a while since Matthew did a food bank delivery Mission in Liverpool. It was a question of racing across Liverpool from another Mission to this one, when the whole of the city it seemed was a roadwork and every car in the area had decided to come out for a drive.

It was a question of just putting the radio on and listening to some happy music and accepting that it was going to take a little longer than usual to get around.

When delivering the food J and her family were out and so the delivery was taken in by a neighbour, who was quite seriously ill. Despite being in a rush to get home, some things are more important than meetings and so Matthew spent 15 minutes chatting to the neighbour and trying to give them a bit of a boost and at the end of the call they were determined to do some things with their life and to contact people for help.

A great Mission and two people helped, for the price of one.
