Today we wanted to complete a task that would involve everyone that your families could get involved with too being a National Day. Armed with Litter pickers, bags and bingo lists Goodgymmers helped keep their local area clean and environmentaly friendly.
Ali Played litter pick bingo with her daughter finding 18 out of 25 impressive and walked over 2 miles, weldone to Ali on her first GoodGym task our 3rd new member of the day.
She says...Mostly was nice to get out in the fresh air with my little one and have some quality time away from the screens whilst also doing some good. Lola talked in detail about how she’d design a flats complex whilst we picked litter. We watched whilst a fisherman caught a huge fish from the canal after looking at his tub of wriggling maggots. Time well spent.
Tommo Solo litter pick 2pm till 3pm today mainly on around Braunstone Parkrun course 1 full bag consisting off beer cans and bottles all different kinds of plastic bottles large and small fast food wrappers, boxes ,trays nitrous bottles large and small plenty of spent balloons chocolate wrappers tissues wet wipes and numerous sandwich boxes all bagged and left at bin near Winstone House.
Ian Cleared up 4 bags of mostly plastic bottles that he had spotted on his travels around his local area.
Mel Played litter pick bingo in her local area and found 21 items! Amazing work and lovely collage of her findings.
Sarah I picked with my 7yr old lad who decided to look for litter in a tree stump...surprisingly he found a sweet wrapper! We did find half a bag just along the streets where we live walking 1.4 miles.
