On a Thursday evening 13 goodgymers and 2 tour guides from the Birmingham Roundhouse took to the canals for a unique litter picking expedition!

Keith and Andrew from the roundhouse briefed us all and we got our buoyancy aids on! Equipped with rubber gloves, nets and big rubber buckets we floated off . We kayaked up towards Port Loop and looped round past the reservoir, filling up the buckets with litter. We also got a brief history of the surrounding area and learnt something new about Birmingham.

After kayaking back past the hidden goose in the bush, we collected our haul and had a group photo under the historic arches!

It was certainly a fun goodgym adventure! Big thanks to the roundhouse for taking us out on an amazing trip!
