Tonight, Laura organised our task, which was leafleting for Sustrans, or Lenny (more on that in a bit)
We had Jo join us from GG Exeter, swopping the Devon delights for the Brum fun!
Rob led the way to the Ostler play area, were we met our walker Miriam. Laura had a route planned, so we split into two groups to deliver the leaflets. Rob took a selfie and picture of me doing something then we headed back.
The Lenny bit, is the fact Lenny Henry was at the launch of the bench in the park last week, which prior to that we had done a litter pick to make it look all spic and span :) Please see the picture with Lenny, Miriam and Laura from the unveiling last week.
Once back at 1000 Trades we had a quick stretch and joined Miriam in the pub.

This report covers two missions to assist Narthex; the first was Rose who kindly attended on Saturday 4th February and did a great job at sorting through baby items, such as: nappies, wipes and milk. As you will see from the photos, this made a big difference and means these items are now more efficiently organised and easily accessible.
Then tonight, a further 4 GoodGymers (Miriam, Amy, Amy and Sofeen attended to help out.
They sorted through baby food and kitchen items, which included lots of crockery and a great mix of cups/mugs, including an 'Oldi' mug as a play on the supermarket Aldi. They also did a great job, as shown in the photos, and Miriam even got to hang around with her fans at the end... hence this week's title.
The 5 of them across the two dates did a great job and we look forward to returning on Monday 20/02/2023 and, in Rose's case, on Saturdays.

This weekend was the return of Edgbaston Reservoir parkrun after several weeks of cancellation owing to demolition of the Tower Ballroom.
Amy expertly marshalled while Liam and I were on time keeping! I also did the first timers briefing, although I was a little rusty after not doing one for years!
Elsewhere at Perry Hall Rahull was parkwalking in blue high vis.
A fabulous way to start the weekend!
