I was greeted by Ms C as the midday sun started hitting. She provided me with some direction, equipment and bin bags and off I went, clearing the weeds and trimming some of the taller plants in her garden, making it much more visually appealing.

I arrived at the same time as the Felix delivery, took 6 crates of fresh produce, followed by another delivery of meats. It took us a while to separate portions and count eggs but we got there. There were plentiful portions ready for Friday's guests.

Had a nice little chat with Miss A, did her grocery shop and dropped it off promptly.

Tracey, Anna, and I met outside the property for a quick chat before being ushered inside to tackle a wobbly double bed. The three of us made short work of the heavy lifting by channelling our inner Friends and pivoting away, proving that teamwork really does make the dream work!

Great work from the whole team this week, with a special mention to the newcomers, who got stuck in straight away and made a fantastic contribution. Despite a disappointing surplus donation, the team pulled together and delivered a warm, welcoming service for 21 guests. Their teamwork and positivity ensured that everyone was well looked after.

As an added bonus, guests were also served fresh squeezed Clementine Juice. A brilliant example of creativity and dedication, even when resources are tighter than hoped.
