This evening was our first visit this season to Norwich Foodbank.
Some milestones this week:
A big welcome to Robert P on his first GoodGym experience.
We had two members reaching their 50th good deed, well done to Rosemary and Madeleine!
We also had a member reach their 100th good deed! Congratulations to Jen!
There was a variety of tasks to do, including weighing crate, sorting crates and date sorting tuna/corned beef.
As per usual, another great evening was had.

As the night started to draw in on mondays a gaggle of goodgymmers met at the forum for an inspirational warm up. 6 runners ram north uphill to Mousehold 35th sea scouts.
We met the organisers who had prepared for us to paint the interior of the hut. The difficult second coat!! Steven gamely volunteered to go up the scaffolding structure. The rest of us armed with rollers got to work quickly painting and cleaning areas !
Jenny J with dpggy in tow and Sarah helped the scout leaders prepare the upcycled tyres outside the hut. Also tidying and weeding! Great job ladies
In no time at all we managed to achieve the task and we hoped we improved the community space for the scouts and other users
45 minutes later we charged back out into the good night. Back to the forum to complete our run and enjoy the rest of our evening.
well done everyone x

We returned to Milton Close for a 2nd week, to help them prep for their new wild flower garden. In 2 sessions we have made a real difference while filling over 30 bags of green waste.
Congratulation to Sam for completing her 25th good deed!
Tuesday 19th September
Stephen Knock completed 5 good deeds with GoodGym.
Stephen is a now a pretty committed GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the fifth time

It was a gorgeous evening in Eaton Park as we arrived as the sun was about to set over the park.
Our task was to give the pond area a good clean up, which consisted of cutting back some overgrown bushes, sweeping up leaves and a litter pick.
