Ten Goodgymers met at the Primary school Plot in Earlsdon for our summer holiday visit of the year as the nights draw in. Our tasks were to weed the areas around the main shed / seating area, the path area within the orchard and trim the hedges surrounding some of the different plots. We tidied up our different area's and had enough time to see the sun go down as we shared James's abundance of plums

We had a wonderful time sorting Clothes for Clothing Coventry. It's been a busy time for the charity as they are hosting their school uniform pop up and their warehouse needed a little attention as a result. We soon set to work looking through donations and looking for more uniform that could be used in the pop up.
We also welcomed new member Frances. Welcome and we hope to see you again soon.

Another beautiful sunny Tuesday and four GoodGymers met at Carriers of Hope.
The wonderful Gloria was there to greet us all, and it was a lovely surprise to see Katherine joining Georgia, Sharon and me.
We headed upstairs, where it was a bit stifling, so Gloria thoughtfully brought us a fan to keep us cool.
Today’s task was sorting baby and kids’ clothing — separating by age, size and gender, then packing everything into crates ready for storage and future donations. We worked through many bags and got through a good amount of baby clothes. Great work, everyone! 🙌

On Tuesday evening, six GoodGymers made it to Carriers of Hope for another volunteering session. We were greeted by the delightful Gloria and Andrew. First, it was all hands on deck shifting boxes of baby milk upstairs. Although it didn’t look like there was much there, the boxes seemed to never end! It was a great workout for everyone. Sharon, Georgia, Steve and I carried the boxes up the stairs, while Laura and Lucy stacked the shelves and organised the boxes. Once we’d finished, we headed downstairs and set up three tables to sort oiut different types of flour into bags, label them, and heat seal them ready to go out for donations. It got pretty messy, but we had fun chatting while we worked. Gloria and Andrew led the way brilliantly. We finished with a good tidy-up, cleaned, and mopped the floor. Great work, everyone!
