The mission was to clear enough of the overgrown bushes to be able to use the backdoor and to gain access from the back door to the wall for new washing machine plumbing.

After plenty of cutting and clearing, a walkway was carved through the garden and the wall was uncovered. A small seating area was also uncovered.

The space is ready for the new machine - a successful mission.

This was a challenge! The sofa had to go through some narrow doorways and it was a fun although heavy puzzle to get the sofa out of the door.

Eventually we succeed and it’s ready to be collected, with a happy Mrs Y.

16 Goodgymers attended our Monday session to support our local warden Will, to care for Mousehold Heath, an important local habitat.

Will explained to the group the extent of a recent wild fire and all they were doing to reduce local fire risks.

We split into a 3 groups; one moving a drying pile of old bracken, one group bracken pulling, and one removing pockets of gorse and stumps to support fire engine access routes.
