Today 2 of us did a spot of litter picking in the city centre - our usual meeting spot of the Phoenix certainly needed it! 2 bags full and a lovely pit stop at the Christmas market for some mulled cider too!

2 runners braved the sub zero frost to save leftover food for the Community Fridge. There was a good selection of veg and some bakery bits, all were snapped up fairly quickly.

2 runners came out to save waste food for the Community Fridge, despite the frosty Saturday morning. Our usual folks were ready at the Central Library to make use of the food collected from local shops.

Today it was all about spuds. Every supermarket had an excess of potato’s to donate, 30kgs worth in the end. We also have some bakery items and a bag of sprouts!

Our second task of the evening was a litter pick on the way back from our first task. The 4 of us filled the bag pretty fast, but it means the city is a slightly cleaner place!

Tonight, our first task of the evening was to pop down to the Secret Garden and help with clearing the pathways and cutting overhanging branches.
Always a pleasure to make the walkways safer fir the residents
