it was a big Happy Birthday to watermead junior parkrun and we had goodgymers help volunteering and celebrating in Mel and Dave and Stu and Lorna and Lynne and at Melton we had Nick well done to the Super 6.

Three Goodgymmers litterpicked the canal from Belgrave Lock to the Morningside Arena bridge at Abbey Park. bag of rubbish, cans to recycle for the Air Ambulance, NOx cylinder and a floating polystyrene box from the water. A nice morning walk along the canal.

Three Goodgymmers went on the last visit of the year to Great Central Railways Leicester North Station with the garden maintenance team. New member Alison was between the rails in the station clearing out the flower beds for winter while Jeanette and Nick litter picked the approach road and car park, which looks to be a good party spot out of hours. Two bags of glass bottles to the bottlebank and a bag of cans for rhe air ambulance. The GCR team have appreciated our help, and we have enjoyed our visits, so we'll be back again in the spring
