25 crates of bananas ... and a lot of satsumas. But no melons.
The pallet of Costa Rican melons that were delivered to the City Harvest warehouse this evening were rotten. And because of a salmonella outbreak linked to melons, they would have had to be binned anyway. At least they will be transformed into biogas and fertiliser.
