It was a dark and windy night but the bright lights of GoodGym wound their way through Luton's streets and up onto Bradger's hill, where our task awaited us.

High above the town we found our patch of dogwood shoots, suckers from the surviving roots of a long gone tree. We got our loppers in action, snipping out the mini trees before they take over this patch of grassland.

Area cleared of suckers we headed back into town via a series of short hill sprints to get ourselves warmed up after chilling in the hill-top wind.
