Welcome spring with arms wide oven

Jane (doing her 1st MISSION ever WOOHOO 🙌👏🎈) and Gosia visited Mrs J today to help out with doing some cleaning before the spring 🌞 (eventually!) arrives. The task was to pull out Mrs J's oven from the kitchen wall and help clean behind it.

That was a second visit in Mrs J's house for Gosia. Just a couple of weeks ago there was a mission to help her put together a new bed in her bedroom .

Now, the time came for the kitchen 🍽. Mrs J's was worried that we would not have enough strength 💪 to move the oven but we handled it very smoothly with a gentle, very cooperative 'inch by inch' appoach. It was all quite sticky and dirty behind there as it usually is in such rarely visited and difficult to reach places.

We started with cleaning one side of the oven, instructed by Mrs J which detergent to use and how to clean. Even when we thought that it's all done, she was very meticulous in finding all the smallest places that still needed an attention. After doing the first side we moved the oven to the other side of the kitchen to uncover and do the second side. We buffed it up a little bit more by polishing the surface on the top. Only after this the oven actually started to shine like a diamond 💎.

We also took care of the space behind the oven, picked up all loose parts first, mopped the floor and cleaned the wall and surroundings. It was good to do it properly as it will most likely take a longer time to visit this side again. We gave it all a while to dry and moved the oven back to the same place as before.

Mrs J was pleased with the outcome and - before we headed off - she had a longer chat about her plans for the spring. As it is very cold now, she wasn't able to go outside too much because of her lungs. She is looking forward for the spring (like we all do!).
