Sevan and JP were both off work for the day and headed over to Mrs M’s place to help her out with a task she couldn’t manage alone.

Mrs M is 89 and couldn’t get her net curtain down to wash it. We made short work of unhooking the rail and getting the curtain off, then popped it in the washing machine on a 15 minute cycle. Meanwhile, we tackled the curtains themselves to try to improve the running as it had come loose from several of the hooks.

This was a tricky job as the curtains were hold and the tape had detached itself, but with some safety pins and a lot of patience we managed to get the hooks back in place and the curtains were more secure.

Mrs M was also worried about a few issues with her mobile phone, so after getting the net curtain back up on the rail we discussed her options for sorting the issues - she was relieved to have more clarity and how to proceed.

All in all it was a satisfying mission to help out Mrs M and we left her to her day grateful that we’d been able to provide a bit of support.
