We had a won-deer-ful time with santa-stic weather at Warwick Reindeer Run

4 Goodgymers supported Raceways in aid of Marathon Kids at Warwick Racecourse this morning for their reindeer 2.5k and 7k races followed by the kids 1km fun run.

Not to be outdone by the runners, we donned our reindeer outfits along with high vis marshall jackets. Jackie took marshalling reindeer to the next level with her authentic reindeer herder hat. Lil, Jackie and Nigel took their positions at strategic points around the course and after a much needed warm up run by Katherine - the herd was off!

Tails bobbing, lots of cheering and 3 laps of the course later, runners were presented with water, a mince pie and a medal. It was then a quick change of positions ready for marshalling the kids fun run which ran directly afterwards.

The event was a huge success with everyone having a big smile on their face as they crossed the finish line. Let's hope we can help to support this event again in the future - well, it would be Rudolph us not to!
