Warehouse Wombling

A Thursday morning volunteer shift at the Acton Park Warehouse of charity City Harvest was oddly quiet, with no deliveries and only a handful of volunteers . So a rare opportunity to concentrate on the Warehouse Itself rather than the food coming in and going out.

So four hours spent doing the food redistribution warehouse equivalent of tidying the stationary cupboard. Very satisfying. Slightly worrying psychological perspective. Wish I could channel the same energy at home. And I think I might be discovering my true vocation as Quarter Master ....... or as a Womble.
