It was a day like any other in another hot Sunday afternoon on the end of a summer's day. Three Goodgymers from three different boroughs got together to tackle a mission in a place like no other, as this place has been revisited by myself FOUR times now. I can basically call it home. After the friendly introductions amongst us three and always the heart warming welcome from Mrs M we got cracking on with the task ahead. Task 1: Emily was given the job of trimming and removing some foilage to help reveal the spinach growing below and around it. Task 2: Ana had the therapeutic job of lawn mowing the lawn which had grown considerably since my last visit and then trimming back some other plants that need it on the border of the lawn. Task 3: I had the duty of trimming the most prickly bush that I've come across before, we have a history and I now know had to handle it. And just like from the words of Mary Poppins: "In every job that must be done There is an element of fun You find the fun, and snap! The job's a game. And every task you undertake Becomes a piece of cake" And just like that, in a click of Mary Poppins fingers we were done and even was offered a cup of tea and cake....... of course. Good job us!!
