We arrived to find a very overgrown garden and quickly got to work clearing the weeds and discarding rubbish and old flowerpots.

It was satisfying work - most of the weeds came up easily and we bagged them up and then cleared the paths.

We had a bit of a surprise discovering a snake under a flowerpot - thank goodness it was already dead!

Mrs N’s family were there and gave us great encouragement - and pizza!
