On a balmy bank holiday Monday evening a select band of Hackney Good Gymers dashed through Victoria Park to Cre8 in Hackney Wick. Its an interesting space home to Londons first ever ‘eco ship’ and a space for both sporting and cultural activities.

On a previous visits we moved a huge stack of bricks- so last nights’ border clear up’ and ‘compost spread’ task was a little more sedate- but try telling that to Patrick when he was wielding the pickaxe on those pesky weeds- whip-ow! Alex also managed a GoodGym 1st- she managed to snap the prong of garden fork clean off.. a massive metal garden fork- that’s some impressive gardening action.

Despite allowing ourselves some distracted talk of holiday plans and potential foreign excursions (you wouldn't get that at British Military Fitness) we finished off pretty quickly and had a cracking run home to Bethnal Green back through Viccie Park. We even managed to check out a pretty special canal sunset on the way home. Nice.
