Mission

The Garden of Weedin'

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Oxford.

Today Jo and I ran to help with the upkeep of a garden belonging to a woman who is due out of hospital any day now. We each ran a few miles to the house and (this being my first mission run) arrived early and ready to get stuck in.

We were greeted by a wonderful host who had already done a lot of work on the garden so our first job was to bag up all the garden waste she had created, there was enough to fill her car! We got involved with lots of weeding and raking, by the end the garden looked great and our host couldn't thank us enough for the help (it felt great seeing how much it meant to her).

Great work - sounds like both of the people involved will be really relieved that this has been sorted
