On Tuesday, while walking along the Taff Embankment, I observed the sorry state of a particular stretch peppered with litter. The nearby disgruntled swans seemed to be sending an SOS...

The next day I answered their call. The sun broke through a cloudy sky, so no need for an Umbrella - just a litter hoop and picker.

I got to Work like Nobody's Business. The sack quickly filled up with the usual trash, including a bottle of Desperado, and a bent spoon (dropped by Uri Geller-eller-eller?).

The swans gave an appreciative honk as I paused for a photo with them. Then, once I'd left the full sack by a council bin, it was time to Take a Bow.
