Lambeth

Mission

Spikely does it

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

Mrs D wanted her garden tidied up as she hasn't been able to do as much since she got ill. Once we persuaded her not to bend over and help us she (reluctantly!) left us to it, and we got cracking on some weeding of flower beds, turning the soil, raking leaves and Tim did a grand job of cutting the overhanging brambles and bindweed from next door. Once we'd managed to bag up all the spiky cuttings, we took the bags through to the front to be collected. Mrs D was really pleased and is looking forward to watching the birds in her tidier garden.
