Mission

So glad to be able to help out in the community

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.

I went to J's house and she had the need for some food for herself and her lovely cats. We spoke on the doorstep, with appropriate social distancing in place and she was glad of the chat. While we were doing this she was saying how some tree's which had taken root at the front of her house were driving her mad. One of them was banging on her front window. With one simple tug, I pulled them out and she was really grateful for this. A short hop and a skip to the superstore and I bumped into fellow Good Gymer Christine, also out on a Mission and it was lovely to chat to her. I believe that we are starting to remember just how important we are to each other and that good relationships are the most important thing in this life. A thoroughly satisfying Mission and another vulnerable person in the community helped.
