Mission

Slugging it out

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

A little catch up between Lambeth taskforcers; cohort 4, was an amiable way to spend a bright Saturday. We gossiped about the brilliant achievement of GoodGym turning 10 years old (party pictured) and what it’s meant for us individually. Ms M’s pleasure at seeing us and receiving a little help, care and a chat, brought it home again that Goodgym’s simple premise to encourage cross-generational community, can move mountains, mole hills, weed patches, errant slugs, wardrobes - whatever’s necessary really...and move us; in all meanings of the word ☺️

(Issy ran to the task in preparation for her triathlon, and I practiced hiking in anticipation of the three peaks challenge, and Ms M popped out to see us in the fresh air). Nowt better for potentially the last warm day of Summer.
