First up, thank you team for all remembering proof of vaccination and negative lateral flow test - no one had to wait outside in the cold for us because they forgot!

We arrived at the wrong gate but luckily Jenni found us wandering around and we made our way through the building and out into the garden, which looks wonderful (in the dark). Theres an unloved area that the residents look out onto and that was the area that needing tackling.

We gathered tools and bin bags and set to work. There was a big slope that involved the use of some interesting tools and some stretching to reach the top.

At first we thought it might be too much for 6 of us to tackle on one evening but we were determined to get the job done! And we definitely did whilst also finding a ginger nut biscuit in the weeds!

One last sweep of the area and we collected the bin bags up and admired our work. After goodbyes to Jenni and the team, we headed out into the cold and on a short run back to Glass Mill.

We can't wait to visit again and hope the residents have a wonderful surprise in the morning when they look out of the window.
