Shopping for litter at Beavertown

2 Ealing Goodgymers met at Westway Cross Shopping Park on the Monday Bank holiday. Emmanuella Contopoulou cycled whilst StephDucat ran to the mission. Both joined forces with Jackie, Cathy and Fred from Lagercan at 10am. We also had a small helper on 4 legs : Milly if not mistaken. As the magnificient 5 were all on the shopping mall car park ready to roll, they moved across the road and started shopping for litter in Paradise Fields. During the litter shopping, they ended up at the drinkers bench, not to drink but to clear the cans and rubbish. In the process, they located the "public toilets" near the entrance of the park : the standards need to be reviewed as not left very clean. We did not spot any beavers during our mission. As the end approach for the goodgymers, they brought their shopping bags to the entrance of the park for collection : 8 bags of goodies for the bins. Cathy got Steph's phone details as she is working on a project along the canal to convince the council to help as alot of fly tipping and Steph will provide her photos when cycling or running in the area as both noticed alot of rubbish recently there.
