First of all, may we wish you the very best for the New Year? And, of course, loads of running achievements while doing good for the community.

Alys, Becky, Julie and Anne met at the sports centre. Priya arrived a bit later but, unfortunately, we had left! Sorry Priya, we hope this did not put you off and that you will join us next week.

Julie was back; she last came during the summer when she completed a couple of missions. It was good to see her again. Holly had dropped the leaflets at Alys’s for us to distribute.

The charity Shooting Star Children’s Hospices offer to collect real trees in exchange for a donation. So we ran 7 kms up and down some of Woking streets to spread the good news.

Alys and Becky took away the few leaflets left and will distribute in their neighbourhood. Thank you to both.

Will you join us this coming Sunday to help at Woking junior parkrun?

Or next Wednesday when we will pick up litter from Brookwood Farm playground? Both missions are advertised on the Woking GoodGym website.

In the meantime, happy running to everyone.
