Despite the drizzle, four Goodgymers spent an hour helping weed and rake at Holgate Community Garden. David and Jonathon managed clear the leaves off of a large section of grass, discovering as they did that the plastic rake was far superior to the metal one as a functional tool. Cara and Laura weeded around 9 fruit trees, leaving them clear of weeds for spring bulbs to go in. The rain made the earth feel very clay like which didn't make the job any easier.
