Ben, John and I met at the Pret in Clapham to do the weekly task of collecting the leftover stock from the store and taking it to the Bright Morning Star Charity HQ near Stockwell.

The ladies in the shop were on holiday this week, so we were greeted by the gents who were in charge for the shift. Once they’d checked through the leftovers, we loaded our bags with baguettes and our sacks with sandwiches and cycled off to deliver the goods.

Miracles do happen, and we managed a Saturday afternoon bike ride without it raining! Yes it was blooming cold but it was dry! And so we dropped off the food to Lola and headed on our Separate ways.
