Princes Boulevard in Liverpool 8 is a fine area with a fascinating history. It has recently had a transformation to create, in effect, a linear park with a dedicated safe cycle path and walking route. I noticed that litter was beginning to build up on the planted and grassed areas, so set off with my trusty litter picker, bags, and Toby the Springer Spaniel for company. After going up one side and back on the other, bumping into none other than our area activator Char on the way, I'd soon collected 2 bags full of litter. It's been really good over the past weeks to see the restored Boulevard being well used and enjoyed by walkers, cyclists - and the odd skater - of all ages. It's a lovely place to spend time now.
