Seven of us hot footed it over to Cultivate London’s site in Acton to help with the preparations for their move to a new site.

Tonight’s task was to clear the stack of leftover pallets we’d helped to dismantle on a previous mission. There was also a smaller job to move the pots we’d sorted and stacked on another occasion. Nothing like seeing a job through!

As seasoned human chain pro’s we quickly got into a rhythm passing the broken pallets from one to another, and into two skips in the neighbouring yard via wheelbarrow. Nearby Emily sorted through the stacks of plant pots before joining in on the human chain action.

45 minutes flew by and soon it was time we were on our way to rehydrate, but not before we’d been rewarded with the fruits of our labour. One of our 5 a day taken care of thanks to a little blueberry bush 🫐
