We couldn't move for puns tonight! Kate was out in force coming up with some beauties throughout the evening!

Before we get to that, let me take you back, back to Guildhall at 6.45pm where a small but cosy group of us gathered and talked of Richmond Runfest, Asics volunteering and community missions (see details at the end of the report).

We headed outside in the humidity to play mirror box jumps and planking for eternity. We left Guildhall for our run along the river and back to SeeAbility.

There was no cape tonight but Mark still had springs in his shoes and flew up and down the Kingston road to keep this small but mighty group together

We had unfinished business at this fab task that we visited last week. We returned to finish sanding the swing, planting vegetables and cutting back brambles.

It was literally all hands on deck but not for the paint! After sanding the wheelchair swing we got all excited to paint this smooth and inviting surface , only to discover when Mark read the small print that this paint was not to be used on smooth decking surfaces , even emphasising "THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT". So we figured best pay attention to it and leave the painting for another time.

Meanwhile Jenna and Martel were planting vegetables, a pumpkin, carrots, swede and an unidentifiable plant which stayed a mystery even after we planted it until Dave came along and sniffed the leaves and was able to inform us that it was in fact a tomato! Ever seen what carrot seeds look like , never would have expected it myself - take a look at the photo! With a few moments to spare we made space in order to "give peas a chance" to grow, and gave the brambles a final trim and rake up before planting our bottoms on the trampoline for a group photo!

Lovely night in a beautiful garden with great company. Looking forward to next week already
