23 runners ran 7k and cleared a 38m path

First good gym run of the year had a really good turnout, with loads of new faces. The run was 7k run in total. We went up to Rectory Road to clear a pathway in an overgrown allotment. It was dark, mysterious and soggy before but now it is perfectly manicured and essentially the best path ever.

Fruit & Veg

The idea is that once the allotment’s cleared up and ready to go, the residents of an overlooking tower block, who don’t have gardens, will be able to use it to grow fruit and veg.

Mega Puffed

I for one was a heaving shell of a woman after the return journey. This involved four long sprint interval bits where we split into two groups and the back group tried to catch the front group. Mega puffed afterwards but definitely got the goodgym glow as I cycled home covered in mud, sweat and weeds. Don’t laugh, I know you felt it too.
