An exciting week that Charlton park run offered pacers to guide the runners. With an amazing result that 30 runners achieved a new PB today!
It is the 96th Charlton park run with 168 runners/walkers and a mixture of families running with prams and dogs.
37 first timers were welcomed to our local park run. The weather has been great with a gentle breeze.
Linda was the run director with a great team including Tom was the barcode scanner; Martin cheered people as the marshal; Steve was the time keeper and I supported the post event close down.
We need more volunteers during the next few weeks during the summer, please help out if you can.
