Nice to get chat into it

I decided to turn my NHS volunteer responder app to "On Duty" after taking a bit of a break from it since moving back to Cardiff. In relatively little time I received two alerts for check in and chat calls.

Mr O seemed to be getting on okay and was happy to keep receiving calls from responders just to check in.

I then had a lovely chat with Mr T. We spoke about a range of things including origins of surnames to presenters on Top Gear and Bake off. Mr T also told me about an interesting programme he had watched where a Spitfighter was dug up on a farm. We then spoke about sports we did and I mentioned that I enjoy going running. Mr T asked if I was planning to run a marathon, to which I replied not quite! But I explained that I was hoping to complete a half marathon sometime in the future with Cardiff's half now being rescheduled to October 2021. He then wished me well with my masters degree and we finished the call.
