Last night a team of us helped out at a local church with food and welfare donations for asylum seekers. Our first challenge was shifting clothes up an extremely narrow and very windy turret to get to the tower- amazing to get special access but a good test of our balance and agility! Job done, we moved into sorting the foodbank with Alan and Luis categorising and shifting enormous quantities of milk. We reminisced over carnation’s evaporated milk and tinned fruit whilst discussing training- good luck for your training for London Alan and for your city 10k Luis! Consider lifting all those boxes of food and clothes as a strength and conditioning session…
