We exchanged complementaries and introduced ourselves to Mrs V, who was very welcoming and clear with her instructions. We took the bed slats off and moved them and the mattress around the corner near the bins. The bed frame was a lot more tricky, we manged to get it to the corridor but realised soon thereafter that it would not fit through even with a bit of twisting. With no tools to hand or around we flattened the frame and disposed of it with ease. The armchair was a lot more straightforward, with a bit of tilting and pivoting it squeezed past the doors and we were on our way with another successful mission.
