Litter Pickers Assemble
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Cody Dock in Newham.

A beautiful sunny February morning made the run down the River Lea a very pleasant experience for my first post covid run,I had my trusted run buddy and hubby Kevin with me as always.
We arrived at Cody Dock to be greeted by Ben and fellow dockers volunteers ready for a couple of hours of litter picking on the rounds surrounding Cody Dock.
We split into 3 groups and headed off to our allotted roads.
Is always a pleasure to help the team at Cody Dock and meet new volunteers and discuss the wonders of GoodGym.
Definitely less litter than on previous picks but sadly still lots for us to collect….even a fridge!!!
Once the time was up we all headed back to Cody Dock for a well earned drink and cake before a leisurely walk back along the River Lea.
