Lettuce romaine calm about this unbe-leaf-able list

Arrived at Mr L's house where he and his wife were waiting for me with the list and some shopping bags. He wanted three iceburg lettuces, three romaine lettuces and five chicory - as well as some chicken and lamb.

Armed with this leafy list, I ran round to the Tescos and easily grabbed everything and walked back. Mr L's wife didn't think I could possibly have returned so quick so didn't answer the bell at first, but after peeping through the curtains, she opened the door and took the shopping calling me a Speedy Gonzales.
