A visit to Chessel bay on Sunday morning for a litter pick. We were shocked to see so much litter, millions of nurdles still visible and microplastics amngst the bigger rubbish. We got to work picking as much as we could but the tide came in fast (well spotted by Sarah, else we would have got stuck!). As the water came in we were faced with a plastic soup - so sad to see. Our efforts seemed measly but we are keen to return. Sarah suggested we bring sieves next time and i think this could be well worth a try!

Wilson will set up a group GG task when the evenings are just a bit lighter, there is lot of litter to keep us busy

Sad to hear about the plastic soup :( Great idea for an evening session though 👌
