Kash and Sevan arrived at Mrs M's house having run past a compound full of classic Fiat 500s. Mrs M explained to them that the garden was overgrown and that the GoodGymers were going to have some fun. At that time, Kash and Sevan didn't know what she meant. Mrs M asked them to cut back the plants growing at the sides of the garden and said that all would become clear.

Kash and Sevan got going and as they started exploring, they found that there was a thick layer of vines and brambles all around, which hid another world behind the curtain. As they chopped back the weeds, there were more surprising discoveries...

Kash and Sevan uncovered:

  • A magical, secret part of the garden, hiding behind the vines
  • A long lost rake that Mrs M had given up on finding
  • An abandoned, spherical bird nest
  • Plenty of footballs
  • A plant that was trying to invade Mrs M's house through an upstairs window
  • A giant plum tree in an improbably tiny pot

How strange...

The plum tree started to keel over when the supporting vines were cut away. Everything had been intertwined and now the equilibrium of the garden - and perhaps the world outside - had been disrupted. Kash and Sevan needed to put in a makeshift support to steady the plum tree and the world. They managed to find a wooden beam that just about took the weight. The two carefully backed away before a plane flew overhead or tube train rumbled along below them. At least the plum tree was back in balance.

Mrs M had asked them to leave the cuttings in the garden, so the newly rediscovered rake was used to construct a Fiat 500 sized pile of branches and leaves. With all of the mysteries and magic present in the garden, maybe they'd come back to find a plum powered car made out of leaves.
