What a race at junior parkrun 180!

Lauren and Anne took on new positions this week at junior parkrun 180.

Lauren had to sprint to catch up with the runners as a younger child decided that one lap was enough (thus, making the most of James’s training during the Couch to 5K).

Anne was responsible to give out the tokens to the runners and managed to do so without spilling them on the grass. The 97 junior parkrunners were rather fast this week, with the first position taking 7:28 minutes and the race closing after 20:01minutes (a PB!).

Two members of the No Sweat Running Community also helped and one of them is keen to be part of Woking GoodGym… Watch this space!

Well done to James who completed the Elmbridge 10K. We wonder if he realised his PB?

This coming Wednesday we will join the “Woking Run” Crew for their monthly local litter pick-up. Please do sign up for this group session: the more, the merrier! In the meantime: Happy running!
