A few weeks ago the lovely Seb, a midwife at Wexham Park Hospital called me to ask for our help to turnover 5 allotment plots in order for them to be used as therapy gardens for their expectant mums to use.

This was our first allotment task and we were really mow-tivated to grow help them.

With 9 of us signed up, we knew we would make a big difference to the plot in a short period of time.

So ground rules set, we got ready to wade in with the spades.

On top of having a great task, we had the pleasure of having Kam and Roisin join us tonight. So lovely to see you both again.

Chris had a great system going of digging deep and shaking the grass out - he's such a smarty plants! Great effort Chris.

Digging, weeding, watering.... so mulch to do! But just look at the difference we made in just one hour.

It felt wonderful being out together and working on what will be such a beautiful allotment space for the expectant mums to use.

We are very mulch looking forward to going again next Tuesday.
