I'll tell you what, that hack is really moreish!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 2nd of March 2019
Fresh from our community mission at Clitterhouse farm this morning, Abi and I headed to our home borough of Camden to crack on with a gardening mission! (Potentially via a pub lunch. I'll say nothing further, but simply post the picture of Abi falling over pre-pub, and say that the discussion of Peep Show that we had there is the main inspiration for this report title ๐)
Our task this afternoon was to help trim back some trees/plants for the lovely Ms L. Ms L keeps a variety of plants out on her balcony, but has found that she's less able to attend to their upkeep than she used to. Abi and I were to help with this, using tools that Ms L had borrowed from a neighbour, our height, and Abi's swanky secateurs (a Christmas present from her dad that she was so pleased with that she insisted that I flexed them myself to feel the quality. Very fancy).
And so we set to it! I put my YouTube knowledge about pruning to good use to backseat drive Abi through a few chops of a cherry blossom tree, and I put my GoodGym mission experience to good use by feeling no guilt in exactly how much of the other plants that we pruned/hacked. To be honest, all of that hacking was a little addictive... (Abi had to hold me back on occasion ๐ ). Abi also had fun by occasionally throwing a couple of superfluous snips into the air with her swanky secateurs, thus earning herself the new cognomen of Abigail Secateurhands โ๏ธ Although I don't think that I acquired a new nickname myself, I did learn that my phone has recently characterised me as a Cardiff or Wolves supporter because it decided to update me on the score of their match throughout the mission ๐คท Good craic, Google. Good craic.
Trimming done, we made our goodbyes to Ms L before heading off in our separate directions. Great working with you again, Abi. Please send me any more photos of you falling over, because I feel like this is a new genre of photo that I would enjoy! ๐

Nice one, you two!
Cheers, Dharmesh! ๐
Great work both, and more pictures of runners falling over please!
Thanks Alix :) I'm hoping that if I post enough, there will be a real domino effect in pictures of runners falling over! :D
